This IpbWiki prerelease is considered to be a stable version as all core functionality functions on the platforms mentioned above. However not everything goes as smoothly yet as I would hope when running IpbWiki against a Invision Power Board 3.0 configuration (hence the prerelease status and advice to stick to running ipb 2.3.x for now, if you can)

It does however fix quite a few bugs that were present in the previous version of the PreRelease and the last official release (IpbWiki 2.1), both people running an older version of Ipb (1.3 through 2.3) and people already running IpbWiki against the newest version of Ipb (ipb 3.0) are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of IpbWiki.

I know I've been taking my time getting to a next 'final release' version, the fact that almost every line of IpbWiki had to be rewritten and reviewed for the ipb 3.0 release certainly didn't help the speediness of the release, but isn't an excuse.

This is a maintenance version for existing customers, consider this new prerelease version not as a final but as one step closer to the final version, sales only reopen when I consider IpbWiki to be functioning 100% on all supported platforms.

Installation

• Download IpbWiki Interface and IpbWiki Core from the client download section.
• Upload IpbWiki Core to your forum directory and run the setup.
• If installing on Ipb 3.0 do not forget to refresh your application cache: go to forum admin cp -> system -> manage modules and applications and click the button "recache apps and modules"
• Upload IpbWiki Interface to your wiki directory and run the setup

Things which are considered working are:
- the ipb style wiki skin
- login (both automatic & manual)
- namespaces
- user rights configuration
- bbcode (without css) and emoticons

All other features are still being tested so if you can wait a few more weeks before upgrading your invision power board to version 3.0 I would advise you to wait with the upgrade until the next IpbWiki release...

Installation:
- upload contents of upload_to_forum folder to your ipb 3.0 forum directory
- upload contents of upload_to_wiki folder to your mediawiki directory
- run ipbwiki_setup.php in your forum folder
- Refresh the application cache by going to forum admin cp -> system -> manage modules and applications and click the button "recache apps and modules"
