Ipbwiki Core Installation Process:
- Step 1: upload all the files which are in the upload directory to your forum directory.
- Step 2: start ipbwiki_setup.php via your browser.
eg. http://yoursite.com/forum/ipbwiki_setup.php
- Step 3: hit the start install button
- Step 4: Securing your installation:
* Delete the file ipbwiki_setup.php

You can now start configuring IpbWiki:
- Go to your forum Admin CP Panel
- Refresh the application cache by going to forum admin cp -> system -> manage modules and applications and click the button "recache apps and modules"
- Check your cookie settings and see if your forum cookies are site-wide available (due to the nature of cookies you can only read cookies which are in the same directory or in a higher directory).

You can find the cookie settings in System -> Tools & Settings -> System Settings ->Cookies

Cookie_domain must contain your domain name preceded with a . (dot) eg ( .ipbwiki.com )
Cookie_name_prefix can be blank if you only have 1 forum on your host.
Cookie_path: set this to / (--->>> instead of filling in the relative path from your domain root to your forum, type in the root (so that the wiki will be able to read and write the cookies as well))
- Configure Access Rights for your user groups: My Apps -> IpbWiki -> IpbWiki Group Access -> Edit Wiki Permissions for all your groups. (Remark: be aware that rights which you grant to guests are automatically granted to all other groups as well)]]> Sat, 20 Mar 2010 08:52:03 -0600 117
