Dusk Skin by Gregory S. Hayes, released under the GPL License. The Skin is heavily influenced by the great WordPress theme by Becca Wei. Dusk is a good blend of valid XHTML/CSS and twilight colors. Untar into the base of your wiki directory to use. News about the Dusk skin will be available at Icebreaker.Net.

To install: extract the files to your skin folder. (compatible with Mediawiki 1.6).

I just love this skin!
just 2 small questions: how do I enable the javascript, so that the "edit toolbar" will show up?
and how to I put up a custom "image"? the "logopath" is set properly with the default image, but all that shows up in your tempate is a box with the lettering "Wiki" and link to the main page...

just one last question: how do I set the default "logo"? I have the variable "w$gLogo" set, but it doesn't show up when I goto the home page....

normally that should do it I think as the logo is set in the Dusk.php file via:

<div class="portlet" id="p-logo">
<a style="background-image: url(<?php $this->text('logopath') ?>);"


you could change it too something as this to be sure though:
<a style="background-image: url(http://youraddress.ext/wiki/image.jpg);"

Can someone tell me how to reduce the vertical spacing between bulleted items? For example, if I have this:
* Topic A
** Detail point 1A
** Detail point 2A
* Topic B
** Detail point 1B
** Detail point 1B

There's a huge gap between Topic and Detail point 1A, and between Detail point 2A and Topic B.

I tried reducing the margins and spacing in various ul blocks in the CSS, but it doesn't address this particular issue.

i just installed Dusk - which is brilliant. However, I cannot get the toolbar to show as far as editing is concerned. I'm using the latest mediawiki and appreciate help, as I have used the advice above.
