The search function in the bookjive skin seems to be malfunctioning. When i move my mouse over the input box for the search function it turns into a hand and when I click it takes me to my homepage. How do I resolve this?

Thanks

Dave

Okay I figured it out, it was IE 7 Beta 3 that was causing the issue. Previous IE worked fine and as did Mozilla Firefox.

I actually tried testing it on my 2003 Server and on IE 6 and I get a similiar error message.

Line: 2
Char: 1
Error: Syntax Error
Code: 0

Something with Search Function is creating an eror.

I just tested it on Internet Explorer 6 and don't get any errors, did you do any modifications before you tried the skin?
I'll try it on IE7 later...

I left the skin untouched. I even recopied the original. The page works and finishes. In IE 6 I can use the search function just fine and no error pops up, but in the lower left hand corner it says done but with errors. This error using IE 7 in fact is what causes the search function not to work. Try turning on show script errors in IE. The error is there.

Thanks

Great it works!! I still get that same error message in the bottom left hand corner, but I can use the search functunality. Don't know how much time you want to put into fixing that, but I just turned off notify me of errors.

Thanks for your help

I don't see an error, so it's kinda hard to fix then. smile.gif

If you find a fix for the error, just post it here, then I'll integrate it in the download. wink.gif

Hey

Does anyone else get errors when they use this skin with Apple - Safari? I love it - just wish it would work with Safari!! :-(

This skin is a sack of shit. Take a closer look at the codes... Who did it? Some 11years old motherfucker as their first attempt to create some 'working' css??? Totally different look and function in all kind of browser, not valid... IE gives errors on page. All styles defined in % and em.

Or is it the early alpha version?

I didn't create the skin, but there's no need to give of a rant like you do, the author has designed the skin to the best of his abilities, so it's very unfair of you to react in the way that you do. If you don't like the skin just pick another one.

Im sorry but I am having trouble getting this. I went into Google Adsense control panel and found the channel id no is 5808790896.

I went into GoogleAdSense.php and changed too:

CH01 => 5808790896,

I then went into my Mediawiki page and set it as:

<google>CH01</google>

Still doesnt seem to be working for me.

Thanks for the help too. I know its probably something simple I just cant figure it out.
